Tydd St. Giles Church

Hannath Hall

The Hall has an infamous reputation when it comes to paranormal phenomena, having been visited by the Society for Psychical Research on at least 12 occasions between 1957 and 1960. It is alleged that there are three apparitions there - a woman, a maid and a fair-haired young boy.

A legend that relates to the ghost of the woman is that the owner of the Hall kept her corpse in what is now the haunted room for six weeks following her death, even sending up food for her every day. The apparition of a fair-haired boy has also been reported.
